Game Dev Idle
*PROTOTYPE*
Playful and lighthearted idle game where you play as a game developer trying to manage it's own studio. Have fun ! :)
At first, you must do all tasks by yourself, by choosing one of the 4 specializations on the left side menu (Progamming, Art, Sound and Game Design). When you have enough money, be sure to hire some people to help you gain more money, even when offline !
Little prototype made while exploring the Idle genre.
IAPs and Ads are disabled in this WebGL build.

The point of an idle game is to run while the game is in another tab.
Unfortunately, as soon as you click away it stops running. Even typing this message now the game is paused. This instantly makes it a failure as an idle game, sadly.
On top of that, I got to "stage 7" and noticed no interesting visual changes, despite hiring multiple staff and upgrading equipment. This gives no sense of progression.
On top of all that, the game doesn't fit entirely in my browser window and I had to zoom itch.io out.
All in all, I'd have to rate this a 1/5 as an idle game.
kind of boreing and a bit too big to fit on my screen nicely.
